Inner Health Taijiquan

Traditionally based instruction in the 37-posture Yang Style short form and related Taoist internal practices as a means for rejuvenation, transformation and wellbeing.

About us

Taijiquan - also known as Tai Chi or T’ai Chi Ch’uan - is an internal martial art that is also practiced the world-over as an effective means for obtaining robust health and healing.

Our Mindful Walking Method emphasises the classic principles of Taijiquan, with focus on the practical application of bodily alignments, relaxation, breathing and movement as a pathway to energetic practices.

Our teachers

Our teachers have extensive experience in practicing and teaching Tai Chi Chuan and other internal arts.

Our purpose

To teach Taijiquan and related internal practices as a means for rejuvenation, transformation and well-being.

The teaching methodology at Inner Health Taijiquan is traditionally-orientated, Teaching is presented clearly, comprehensively and imparted piece by piece over a long period of time in an orderly progressive manner. In the beginning our focus is on developing sound fundamental practices. At Inner Health Taijiquan the onus is upon students to attend classes regularly and to practice consistently, for any lasting benefit to be produced. There are no “secrets”, “easy” or “quick” ways to learn Taijiquan either for rejuvenating health or, as a martial art practice.
