The Bubbling Well is an open discussion group for fellow students of Taichichuan. Very broadly, as you may be aware, the study and practice of Taichichuan encompasses and is pursued as a means of Health and well-being, Self-Defence, a living Philosophy and as a means for Self-Cultivation. Members of the Bubbling Well discussion group members are free to provide your thoughts, insights, artworks, poems, comments and questions etc. in relation to all these “areas”. Please keep in mind, I consider myself a continuing student of Taichichuan and therefore can only do my best in answering any questions posed and in doing so can only answer to the extent of my small understanding of this wondrous art we call Taichichuan. If I cannot accommodate any questions, I will direct members to the writings of others that I feel may clarify your question/s. I trust however, in putting our hearts and minds together clarity, in the main, will be gained through our own explorations of the question/s presented. The Bubbling Well" has several connotations. Bubbling - as in the bubbling up of ideas, the liveliness of interaction and the ongoing nature of discussion. The Well - wells are deep, as in the deep hought that we apply to our art in discussing the principles and associated activities. A well is also a central place that people come to, repeatedly, to draw from the wellspring - in this case the wellspring of Tai Chi tradition, experience and knowledge. The Bubbling Well - is also where we establish our connection to the ground. It works in this title in that it becomes a vital connection point with each other. Comments are closed.
